What a wonderful afternoon! We still can’t get over how many caring friends joined us to celebrate the women in our lives.
On Wednesday, May 4, the Epiphany League hosted its 14th annual Celebrating Mothers Luncheon at the St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco.

The sold-out crowd of supporters enjoyed a spectacular orchid sale, a silent auction, lunch overlooking the bay, and each other’s company, while gaining a deeper understanding of the nearly 170-year-old agency’s mission of serving San Francisco’s most vulnerable families. The inspiring afternoon honoring all the women who have positively impacted our lives, featured a live testimonial from a woman who transformed her life as a beneficiary of Epiphany’s Residential Recovery and Step-Down Transitional Housing programs. Former Epiphany client Veronica bravely shared about her struggles and successes. She spoke about her journey from suffering with addiction and homelessness in Marin, to working hard in recovery, and now paying it forward as a case manager helping others to develop the skills to build positive, healthy futures.

Our gratitude goes out to Luncheon Co-Chairs Diane Blackman, Sheila Kelly, and Valerie Malone Raskin for organizing an unforgettable event. We greatly appreciate Matt Callahan, who, once again, entertained, and energized attendees to raise their hands and donate to the Fund a Need. With the generosity of our caring community, we surpassed our goal to enhance the safety of the women and children at our three-story Victorian transitional home, Step-Down.
We cannot continue to uplift our community’s women and children without YOU! Thank you for being with us and providing hope and transformation to Epiphany Center’s families. We look forward to continuing the tradition with you in 2023!
